Sydney is an actor, fight director, teaching artist, and visual artist. She joined the SF Shakes family in 2015 playing Rosalind in the tour of As You Like It. Favorite acting credits include: Laertes Hamlet, SF Shakes; Sally Ride She Persisted the Musical: Bay Area Children’s Theatre; Helena A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Benvolio Romeo and Juliet, Helena Landless Mystery of Edwin Drood Davis Shakespeare Festival; Cassandra Jihad Jones & the Kalashnikov Babes Arabian Shakespeare Festival; Hartford Stage, Berkeley Rep, Mirage Entertainment, The Hampton Theatre Company. Sot Wackowski

Kate Wackowski Rosalind/Amiens

Kate is a 2013 graduate of Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts and has her BA in Theatre and Dance from Southern Utah University. She has worked since then as both an actor and choreographer. Her two recent, favorite roles are as The Stage Manager in Our Town and as Dream Laurey in Oklahoma at PCPA. She is thrilled to be joining SF Shakes and back with the Bard. She sends her immense gratitude to her family and theatre family, who's support keeps her going from near or far.

Perry Aliado Touchstone/Duke Senior/Duke Frederick

Perry is über-ecstatic to again be part of Shakespeare on Tour. He just concluded a year-long stint as Touchstone in the Shakespeare on Tour production of As You Like It, and taught this past summer with SF Shakes’ Bay Area Shakespeare Camps. He recently performed onstage as the Clarín understudy in California Shakespeare Theater’s production of Life is a Dream. Perry is Resident Dramaturg of Custom Made Theatre Company, and Casting Coordinator of Bindlestiff Studio, San Francisco’s Filipino-American Theatre and Performing Arts space. Cat hugs to Trixie and Ginger! And bear hugs to my teddy bear Bobby.

Julie Douglas Touchstone/Duke Senior/Duke Frederick (alternate)

Julie is a Bay Area actor, theatre maker, teacher and clown. She is happy to return to SF Shakes after last being seen in As You Like It (on Tour). Julie has performed locally with Idiot String, We Players, Impact Theatre, Shotgun Players, Shakespeare Santa Cruz and more. Some of her favorite roles include Weird Sister in Macbeth at Fort Point, most of the roles in Comedy of Errors (4 person cast), and Circe in the Odyssey on Angel Island. Julie gets to be silly on a regular basis as a hospital clown with The Medical Clown Project and has performed in various clown cabarets and festivals of devised performance. She holds an M.F.A. in Ensemble Based Physical Theatre from Dell'Arte International and a B.A. in Theatre from University of California at Santa Cruz. Julie has also trained and performed in Italy, Russia, and Bali and is on faculty at A.C.T. and St. Mary’s College. Before moving back to the California, Julie made theatre in Chicago as a company member of The Moving Dock Theatre Company as well as performing with various local companies. She is so excited to be performing in Midsummer (her favorite Shakespeare play!) with SF Shakes.

Sean is very excited to join the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival for the first time. A native of the California Central Coast, Sean attended the Pacific Conservatory for the Performing Arts in Santa Maria. Favorite credits include The Three Musketeers (The Great American Melodrama), Love's Labour's Lost (Central Coast Shakespeare), The Legend of King Arthur (Hampstead Stage), The Rivals and The Wizard of Oz (PCPA Theatrefest). He would like to thank his friends and family for their constant support.

Nikki is thrilled to return to the SF Shakes family having previously performed in the school tour of A Midsummer Night's Dream and in Shakespeare For All's Salida production of Julius Caesar. Other Shakespeare credits include Hero in Much Ado About Nothing and the title role in Romeo and Juliet, both with Ninjaz of Drama. Some of her non-Shakespeare favorite roles include Laura in The Glass Menagerie at Pacific Repertory Theatre and Janice in Crumble with Bigger than a Breadbox. Her training includes RADA's Shakespeare Summer School and a theater minor from MIT, where she graduated with a BS in mechanical engineering.

Kevin has credits that include The San Patricios (2014 World Premier at Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts); Cyrano de Bergerac, As You Like It, Macbeth, She Stoops to Conquer (Independent Shakespeare Company); A Christmas Carol, Cymbeline (A Noise Within); Cymbeline (Theatrum Elysium); A Doll's House, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Anonymous, In the Blood, As You Like It (California State University, Chico). His training and education took place at The Anteaus Academy, A Noise Within Professional Acting Internship, Cal State University, Chico - Theatre Arts, IO West - Improv.

A Meixell Hamlet

Mark Meixell Orlando/Corin/Audrey

Mark is thrilled to be working with SF Shakespeare Festival. Past Shakespeare roles include Benvolio (Romeo and Juliet), Guildenstern and the grave digger (Hamlet), as well as Saturninus (Titus Andronicus). He earned a degree in Drama Performance from the University of Washington and hopes to go on to earn an MFA in acting.

Stephen Muterspaugh*+ Director

Muterspaugh, who served as SF Shakes' Associate Artistic Director from 2014-2017, has been teaching, acting and directing for the Festival since 2010. As a Resident Artist, he has taught Bay Area Shakespeare Camps, Upstart Crows, Advanced Shakespeare Workshop, and Midnight Shakespeare programs, as well as creating the Shakespeare for All Central Valley Residency Program. As a director he has helmed four seasons of Shakespeare on Tour productions, as well as co-directing the 2014 Free Shakespeare in the Park production of The Taming of the Shrew. Regional acting credits include: Cyrano and The Country House (TheatreWorks), Last Night of Ballyhoo and Servant of Two Masters (PCPA), Julius Caesar (Utah Shakespeare Festival), A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Othello (Southwest Shakespeare Company), Charley’s Aunt (Creede Repertory Theatre), A Christmas Carol and Meet Me Incognito (Geva Theatre Center), Lend Me a Tenor (Livermore Shakespeare), King John and The Liar (Marin Shakespeare Company), Three Days of Rain and Harper Regan (Jewel Theatre), and The Winter’s Tale and Macbeth (San Francisco Shakespeare Festival). He is a graduate of PCPA - Pacific Conservatory Theatre and a proud member of Actors’ Equity.

Anne Yumi Kobori+ Costume Designer

Anne is an actor, costume designer, playwright and teaching artist. After designing the costumes for Shakespeare on Tour's Hamlet and As You Like It, she is excited to return to an Elizabethan aesthetic for Twelfth Night. Previous acting credits include The Winter's Tale (Archidamus/Dion/Mopsa) and Hamlet (Hamlet/Ophelia alternate) with SF Shakes, The Tempest (Ariel) and Othello (Desdemona) with Silicon Valley Shakespeare, and A Message (Sochi) with Arabian Shakespeare Festival. She also performs in original comedy shows with ShotzSF. Anne is a Resident Artist and Education Program Manager with SF Shakes, and the Founding Artistic Producer of UTOPIA Theatre Project. BA, Theatre Arts, Santa Clara University.
