You may already know us through Bay Area Shakespeare Camp (offered each summer to youths 7-13) or Free Shakespeare in the Park, now in its 25th season of performing for audiences all over the Bay Area. Teen Shakespeare Camp (for ages 12-18) provides experience and training that enable you to bring Shakespeare’s works to life!

Teen Shakespeare Camps are designed to take each individual to their next level of expertise and capability on stage. They are led by a team of Bay Area theater professionals — directors and actors who have been selected for their extensive backgrounds and accomplishments in dramatic arts. Each session concludes with a showcase performance for family and friends.

Teen Shakespeare Camps offer:
• in-depth study of scenes, monologues, sonnets, and more
• extensive vocal and physical warm-ups
• character and text work, using exercises designed to increase expressive range and quality
• partnered scene work to explore motives and objectives for a variety of characters and roles
• training in audition technique

Teen Shakespeare Camps for ages 12-18 meet Mon - Fri, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, for two weeks. A showcase performance for family and friends is presented on the final day of each session, followed by celebratory cast party!
