Fall 2017 Upstart Crows Saturdays!
Upstart Crows Saturdays (for ages 12-18 in SF) meet Saturdays, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM, for eleven weeks. Stay tuned because we'll be opening registration soon. This fall, actors will be performing their own version of Shakespeare’s Henry the Fourth, Part One. Family and friends are welcome to attend the performance as well as the post-show celebratory cast party.
Those of you who saw last Spring's The Merry Wives of Windsor will remember Sir John Falstaff's antics. Well Falstaff and Mistress Quickly are at it again along with legendary characters like Prince Hal (who later becomes Henry the Fifth) and the fiery couple, Hotspur and Lady Percy.
Actors will train in physical comedy, classical text work, and broadsword stage combat.
Scripts, materials, costumes and supplies for the performance are all included in the low fee of $594 for the program. Need-based scholarship assistance for families in need is available.
