Santos Tiago Antipholi

Tiago Santos Antipholus of Syracuse/Antipholus of Ephesus

Tiago is a recent graduate of the Pacific Conservatory Theater Professional Actor Training Program in Santa Maria. Some of his credits include Henrik in PCPA's Rep production of A Little Night Music, understudy for Clopin in The Hunchback of Notre Dame The Musical, and also understudy for Antonio and Sebastian in Twelfth Night. He would like to thank his friends and family for all the support.

Evan Held Dromio of Syracuse/Dromio of Ephesus

Evan is a recent graduate from the Pacific Conservatory of Performing Arts (PCPA), and excited to be back home in the Bay Area. He's been involved in numerous Shakespeare productions across the years. He's done shows all over Sonoma and Marin counties with companies like Shakespeare in the Cannery, Redwood Theater Company, Santa Rosa Junior College, and Marin Summer Theater.

Devin is beyond ecstatic to make his SF Shakes debut in The Comedy of Errors. Originally from the DC area, he recently relocated to the Bay Area as a performer, producer, director, and theatre educator. He is currently collaborating with Playwrights Foundation, Bay Area Children’s Theatre, and The Speakeasy. Devin has created work with regional theatres such as Asolo Repertory Theatre and Cleveland Play House as well as local favorites like Theatre Rhinoceros and Awesome Theatre.

Miriam Ani Egeon/Angelo/Pinch/Aemilia

Miriam is delighted to join The Comedy of Errors cast in her SF Shakes debut. Past company member of Hedgerow Theatre: credits include Ariel in The Tempest across from Robert Lanchester’s Prospero and Rose in A Hotel on Marvin Gardens (dir. Nagle Jackson). Since relocating to the Bay Area, favorite roles have included the title role in The Heiress (PAP), Irina in Three Sisters (DMT), Karen in August Osage County (NTC), Sébastienne in Livermore Shakes’ Tempest, Lady Macbeth (HMB Shakes), and understudying Queen Margaret in Cal Shakes’ epic War of the Roses. Originated lead in West Coast Premiere of Jim Knable's Green Man (STAGES Theatre, LA). Miriam also teaches acting at CSU East Bay, Sac State, Berkeley Rep, and SF Shakes among others. Natalie Ayala Luciana/Duke of Ephesus

Natalie is ecstatic to be in one of her favorite Shakespearian show, and to be in her true element; a comedy. She is thrilled to be back on tour with SF Shakes after playing Juliet in Romeo and Juliet. She was most recently seen in Plethos Productions as Yolanda in In The Heights. Other performances include Memoria del Silencio ( Elia), the SF Shakes Free Shakespeare in the Park production of  Hamlet (Voltemand/Player Sailor), Sweet Charity (Hostess), and All In The Timing (Kafka). At San Francisco State University her credits include Shakespeare Goes To School Cabaret, Trifles (Mrs. Peters) and Immaculate (Gabriel.) When she is not acting,she is teaching drama/ directing shows at Kidstock, Inc. She is blessed to play Duke/Luciana and wants to thank SF Shakes, friends, family, and her director Carla Pantoja, thank you for training me into becoming a warrior.

Pablo Hamlin Alternate- Antipholus of Syracuse/Antipholus of Ephesus

Pablo is beyond excited to be making his SF Shakes debut with The Comedy of Errors. He is a Bay Area native, born in San Francisco and raised in San Rafael. Pablo attended San Francisco State University for where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Drama (Performance). His recent credits include Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site (Dump Truck) with Bay Area Children’s Theatre, Macbeth (Malcolm) with Theatre Lunatico, and Robin Hood (Will, Prince John, Friar Tuck) with Ross Valley Players. Pablo would like to thank SF Shakes for the opportunity to grow as an actor as well as his family for their continued enthusiasm and support of his craft.

Lorenz Angelo Gonzales Alternate-Dromio of Syracuse/Dromio of Ephesus

Lorenz Angelo Gonzales is a Filpino-American actor, theatremaker and musician based in the Bay Area. He is thrilled to be working again with SF Shakes! He was recently an understudy for their Shakespeare in the Park's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. He has also worked with NCTC, Theatreworks, Playwrights Foundation, Shotgun Players, Ubuntu Theatre Project, Pianofight & Bindlestiff Studio. Recent work include Cowboy Versus Samurai (The Pear Theatre), On the Precipice (Utopia Theatre Project), Oskar and the Last Straw/Big Bully Battle (Theatreworks), and Welga (Bindlestiff Studio). Lorenz received a BA in Theatre & Performance Studies and Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley and has also trained at American Conservatory Theatre and Berkeley Repertory Theatre. Rosemarie Kingfisher Alternate - Adriana/Merchants

Rose is thrilled to be cast in her second production with SF Shakespeare in this Fall’s tour of The Comedy of Errors! This summer she performed in Free Shakespeare in the Park’s, A Midsummer Night's Dream and is very proud to be able to immerse herself in the Bay Area Theatre Community. Since graduating from Sonoma State University, Rose was hired as an Assistant Director with Mark Day School elementary and has performed with Bay Area Children’s Theatre and Ross Valley Players. This fall she will also be joining Bay Area Children’s Theatre as part of their 2018/2019 Acting Company and can be seen in Press Here, the musical in spring 2019.

Alan Coyne Alternate - Egeon/Angelo/Pinch/Aemilia

Alan previously appeared with Livermore Shakes, BACT, Custom Made, Golden Thread, and Lafayette Town Hall Theatre, as well as SF Shakes touring production of Hamlet. He recently played Stephen Hawking with Indra Net's A Time for Hawking. You can see him this May/June in Central Works' The Victorian Ladies' Detective Collective.

Anya Cherniss Alternate - Luciana/Duke

Anya is so excited to be working with SF Shakes for the first time! Recent work includes Dracula (Douglas Morrisson Theatre), The Skin of Our Teeth (Actors Ensemble of Berkeley), Fuente Ovejuna (A.C.T.’s MFA Spring Rep), as well as shows with Sonoma Arts Live, Spreckels Theatre Company, 6th Street Playhouse and Lucky Penny Productions. She is a recent graduate from UC Berkeley with a BA in Theater and Performance Studies.

Carla Pantoja Director

Carla is excited to again be working with Shakespeare on Tour, having directed last season’s popular touring production Romeo and Juliet. She’s also played Paulina in The Winter’s Tale, Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet, and Kate in The Taming of the Shrew in SF Shakes Free Shakespeare in the Park productions. Additionally, she’s performed with Cal Shakes, Shotgun Players, Crowded Fire, Playground, Lorraine Hansberry Theatre, and the SF Mime Troupe in the Bay Area to name a few. Carla is a certified fight instructor and a founding member of Dueling Arts San Francisco. She is a proud member of Playground and a Resident Artist with San Francisco Shakespeare Festival.

Nicole Costume Designer

Nicole Anderburg Costume Designer

Nicole graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in philosophy. She received her costume training at Beach Blanket Babylon where she worked as assistant to the head costumer for seven years. Nicole is so happy to be working with SF Shakes.
