The Little Princess

A co-production of SF Shakes and Los Altos Youth Theatre

Based on the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett

Adapted by Cynthia Mercati

Directed by Anne Yumi Kobori

Sara Crewe comes from India to Miss Minchin's boarding school in London. In this faithful adaptation of the classic story by Frances Hodgson Burnett, Sara has to deal with mean girls, harsh teachers, tragedy and misery. Fortunately, Sara is a gifted storyteller who can make the best of her situation. Her stories come from books and her excellent imagination. The “magic” in the stories helps everyone learn and grow. A co-production with the City of Los Altos.
